To date, the only games they have internally developed were Starbound and Wargroove: Starbound is their best-known game, is a buggy mess that had most of its content stripped pre-launch and is only worth it with enough mods to make it a different game.Įric Barone is working on a new game: Haunted Chocolatier [He is once again developing the game solo, it will be single-player only, and there is no news on whether or not Chucklefish will be publisher (though after some of the issues he had with them with Stardew,I personally find it unlikely that he will ever work with them again. Aside from those specific contributions, ConcernedApe made Stardew on his own.Ĭhucklefish is predominantly a publisher, not a developer. The only things Chucklefish directly contributed to Stardew were some non-English localization, some of the non-PC porting, and the unstable co-op component. The full release of the game will have around 20 more hours of gameplay, including fixing the bridge and restoring the rest. So far they’ve released a part 1 type of deal where the current end is fixing the fountain. Witchbrook is developed and published by Chucklefish. From what I can tell from researching on Google, that hasn’t actually been released yet. Stardew was developed by Eric Barone AKA ConcernedApe and published by Chucklefish. But in many many reviews, ppl have stated that control re-mapping is going to be coming but is not implemented yet, its in the devs FAQ, news updates, and apprentice witch guide for new gamers, and a dozen and a half discussion posts, and people still come on here to complain about a feature that is mentioned to be fixed in multiple areas. Just wanted to clarify: Witchbrook is NOT from the same developer as Stardew Valley. Little Witch in the Woods could have benefited from such as well, even if it was a minor side character or something like an assistant or whathaveyou. That's four or five games in the same style with multiplayer. And, of course there's Roots of Pacha, which looks stellar, and is also going to have multiplayer. It too will likely feature multiplayer like its predecessor. Both Potion Party and Brookhaven have multiplayer - two games similar to "Little Witch." Witchbrook is also on the way, from the same developers as Stardew Valley. Originally posted by HustleGames:Multiplayer would be nice.
